Building a Child's Imagination April 1, 2010 Marie Ann (DuBois, PA) These blocks give a child a chance to build something on their own, using their imagination, instead of something being done for them that they just play with.
My son loves all the different lego pieces March 31, 2010 A. G. Vargas (Bartlett, IL) This is a good assortment of lego pieces not just blocks and bricks but many little detail pieces too. It also gives a lot of examples on what to build and my son really enjoys building something and then taking it apart and building something else. Couple this with other lego sets he has and he can go to town building too his hearts content.
LEGO Ultimate Building Set - 405 Pieces (6166) March 26, 2010 D. Riley Large starter kit with small lego pieces of various sizes and colors. Enough pieces included to build a small building, helicopter, vehicle, dog, plants and other things. Instructions included might be a bit difficult to understand for smaller children, so they'll need your help or let their imagination run wild. This is great for a starter kit.
Legos in a box March 25, 2010 Laurie R. Dreyer I purchased this toy for my two grandsons ages 4 & 6. It is definitely not for younger children. Love the container.
Lego Ultimate Building Set March 24, 2010 S. McCleery (Woodstock, GA) I was initially disappointed with the small box and content. For $29.95 I expected more. However, I gave this as birthday present to my grandson (age 7). He told me the next day all of the things he built with the set, so I revise my initial thoughts to it's a great gift. Even though registered as 4+ he found it perfect as something he could do without adult help.
