nothing extra special about these little guys. But they do encourage creativity and pretend play which I'm a big proponent of. My son loves to line these guys up, build lego cars and trucks and make mock wars and battles with them. They are the 'good' guys. It's actually been a great way to help explain war/military etc with him (he's 4 1/2 but curious) Loads of fun, and he never tires of these guys. We haven't had any issues with them breaking (they are just plastic forms) Simple fun! Just the way it should be. If your kids love Toy Story like mine, these are a great addition to his toybox!

Having tried numerous toy stores someone finally suggested that I try Amazon and yes, I was able to purchase them. I used them as part of a Xmas gift that was designed to bring back moments from childhood.

These arrived in timely fashion; they are exactly as described. I only rated them a 3-star-item because after purchasing them, I found them at Theisen's for 1/2 the price, more per bag, and just as sturdy. Pays to shop around.

My boy asked for these after a few hundred viewings of Toy Story. They are the classic Army Men toy, just like I remember them.

Bought this as a "gift" for a friend's 40th. Big hit! Loved the idea of 40 army men for a 40th birthday and the the birthday boy has already torn into them and set them up in battle. Will definitely keep this in mind for future gift - may even get a bag for my own kids.
